Baku, Cairo, Rome, Vienna, London, Paris and Lisbon were among the travel destinations chosen by Calouste Gulbenkian. Some destinations were simply chosen for pleasure purposes, whilst others for professional reasons. Nonetheless, all the journeys influenced the Collector’s aesthetic taste to a great extent.
